Abee Hakim, Product PR Manager Poco Indonesia, mengungkapkan bahwa Poco F6 akan ditenagai oleh chipset Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, yang merupakan versi lebih ringan dari Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Menurut Abee, pemilihan chipset ini sejalan dengan filosofi Poco yang mengutamakan performa ekstrem dalam setiap handsetnya. Chipset ini juga menambahkan sebuah neural processing unit (NPU) yang mendukung berbagai fitur AI yang ditawarkan oleh Poco F6.
